I am simply taking some time off ~ a holiday of sorts to find inspiration, drink from coconuts and have a love affair with a certain somebody.

I will be back in April with a deep golden tan and delicious tips on how to live everyday like a vacation…

This tub reminds me of that fabulous weekend last Spring when the girls and I took a seemingly relaxingly weekend jaunt to the English countryside for Cordelia’s hen’s party and discovered the most delightful hotel in Lucknam Park. (Of course upon arrival, what really ensued were copious amounts of champagne consumption and curious whispers from the hotel staff). Regardless of our reputation in Lucknam, I wish I were there now soaking in the hotel’s decadent bathtubs. This beautiful, freestanding, footed one from Drummonds transports me right there, and I must say, I would relive that awful, bubbly-induced hangover all over again to take just one more indulgent dip.

Darlings, staying warm and chic is imperative at this time of year but don’t you just abhor the added bulk that layering and knits can incur? Lately it’s just been one soiree after another. With all that champagne I’ve been sipping (heavily sipping) and the complete lack of sleep I’ve been enduring (the things I do to maintain my social graces), I’m starting to develop a tiresome complexion that even a hot bubble bath and a foot rub from a dashing Italian masseuse couldn’t fix.
